PARIS — Gaumont Television is partnering up with Kristen Bell (“Frozen,” “Bad Moms”) on “Do, Re & Mi,” an animated musical series featuring original songs performed by Bell (“Frozen”) and American Idol finalist Jackie Tohn, among other guests.

“Music has been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I hope this show will inspire a new generation of Kids and expose them to the benefits of music, which can be incredibly inspirational, encouraging and fun all at the same time,” said Bell, who is exec producing the series with digital expert Ivan Askwith.

The series, which will comprise 52 episodes of 11 minutes, underscores Gaumont Television’s ambition to deliver high-profile, talent-driven animated series for global audiences, in line with its editorial line for drama series (“Narcos,” “Hannibal”).

“Do, Re & Me” is the first project carried on by Nicolas Atlan, who was recently appointed president of animation for Gaumont and is working out of the company’s Los Angeles office.
