In a comedic sendup of dating shows like “The Bachelor,” handsome firefighter Mark Orlando searches for love and a special woman who can “ignite his flames of lasting love.” He’s grilled on what he wants — and doesn’t want — in a love interest as he dates 15 women at once, including a wealthy fashion buyer, a basketball coach, an octogenarian, and a district attorney — whose favorite movie is “Fatal Attraction.” After going through exploits that include stand-up comedy challenges, bubble-bath dates, and roller-skating outings, the contestants are winnowed until Orlando chooses his mate.
