Kristen tells us that she’s over the moon about marrying BF Dax Shepard – and equally as excited to have a BFF going through the same thing!

What’s the best part about planning your wedding? Having a partner in crime, says Kristen Bell. The When in Rome starlet is super stoked that she and Forgetting Sarah Marshall co-star Russell Brand are tying the knot at the same time!

“I’m so happy for him, its nice when friends are going through the same thing,” the 29-year-old actress told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at Lexus’ Darker Side of Green event in LA July 8. “It makes things easier and much more fun. We have some good surprises, that’s all I really can say.”

Although Kristen wouldn’t delve into the surprises in store for her upcoming nuptials to BF Dax Shepard or Russell’s rumored fall commitment to singer Katy Perry, she was visibly excited at the prospect of marrying the love of her life. “How can you not be [excited]?” she wondered. “if you aren’t looking forward to it, then something would be wrong!”

Well said, lady. Well said.

Always doing what she can for issues close to her heart, Kristen Bell was spotted heading to the set of a PSA in Los Angeles, California on Thursday (July 15). Joined by a few friends for the outing, the “When In Rome” actress looked sassy in a short floral dress and sky high wedges as she trekked over to the filming locale.

As for her efforts, Kristen is in the midst of raising money to deliver clean water to those in need – as she’s started an effort in honor of her 30th birthday (which is July 18) trying to pull in $100,000.

She writes, “A billion people in the world are living without clean water. EFF THAT. Water-borne illness is the second highest cause of childhood death in the world. NOT ON MY WATCH. 45,000 people will die this week alone from contaminated water illnesses. Y’ALL, LETS GET OFF OUR HINEYS AND FIX THIS. Please help me get to my goal of 100K and let’s have a clean water toast.”

Having gotten $5,702 in donations thus far, Bell tweeted earlier this week, “thank you to everone who has gotten what i asked for for my bday! you rule!”

Last night Kristen Bell showed up for “The Darker Side of Green” debates in West Hollywood. 

The “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” babe looked super sexy as she arrived at the Palihouse Holloway, sporting a funky orange and tan printed dress as she posed for the paparazzi. The Darker Side of Green debate series was moderated by “Saturday Night Live” funnyman Andy Samberg and had plenty of celebrity presence in the house.
