From E!Online’s Watch With Kristin:
Aloha!
I am back today from the isle of Lost and Kristen Bell and surf and sun and golf-cart orgy talk (no joke€”more on that later).
That island, of course, is Oahu, Hawaii. And I€™ll be sharing the goodies from my trip a little closer to the return of Lost and the premiere of Forgetting Sarah Marshall (the new Judd Apatow comedy with Kristen, Jason Segel and others stars we love), but for now I simply cannot wait to tell you the most jaw-dropping, giddy-good, exclusive news of all:
Kristen Bell is in talks to rejoin forces with her Veronica Mars boss, Rob Thomas!
(I€™ll wait while you spontaneously break into a happy hula dance.)
Kristen herself tells me (with a big ol€™ Veronica-like, canary-eating grin) that, €œyes, there is talk€ of her signing onto one of Rob€™s new TV series for this fall.
In case you hadn€™t heard, Rob is one-upping Josh Schwartz in his plot to take over television (the world?) and helming three fall pilots: the CW€™s Beverly Hills, 90210 remake, ABC€™s Cupid remake and ABC€™s dramedy based on the New Zealand series Outrageous Fortune.
So which series is it?
Reliable insiders confirm that Kristen has been offered a role as one of the daughters on ABC€™s Outrageous Fortune remake, and that Rene Russo is very close to signing on as the mother. The series is about a family of criminals, in which the father gets sent to the clinker and the mother decides to set everyone straight.
The question is whether Kristen€™s busy shooting schedule can be worked out, given her commitments to upcoming projects, Gossip Girl voice-overs and, of course, NBC€™s Heroes, which is hoping to have her back for at least five episodes.
We€™ll have much, much more from Kristen€”including her words on what€™s really happening with Heroes€”in the next Watch with Kristin show

I just added some photos of Kristen from the Alzheimers Association 16th Annual “A Day at Sardis” event so check those out. She looked lovely as always!
Heroes star Kristen Bell was involved in a minor traffic accident in Los Angeles on Friday afternoon. The 27-year-old damaged the front left axle of her Saturn VUE Hybrid sports utility vehicle (SUV), which had to be towed from the scene, in the incident on Hollywood Boulevard. No one was injured.
An onlooker claims the actress’ vehicle collided with another SUV driven by a man, reports TMZ.com.
Bell’s representative tells the website a call was made to police, but that no officers showed up at the scene; Los Angeles police say they have no record of a call.

Kristen Bell might not only have more antiheroic days ahead of her (as reported last week in Ask Ausiello), but there might also be a bit of a turnaround for her Elle-raiser. While she notes that “nobody really knows anything at this point” as to the NBC series’ game plan for Season 3, she says, “I€™ve had an unbelievable experience thus far and they seem to like me and want to keep me onboard, so we€™re going to keep that ball rolling for as long as we can. I think we fell in love. Just try and separate us!”
Bell is busy for the next 12 weeks on a shoot that will take her to Rome and New York City, but when she comes back “is when [Heroes] will be getting things together to start shooting. So I€™ll be free.”
Though Heroes’ focus when it returns will be on big baddies, Bell’s Elle could surprise fans. “She is so evil and so broken, yet she actually redeems herself over the next couple of episodes,” the actress teases. €” With reporting by Carita Rizzo

Cool news for fans of NBC’s Heroes: it looks like the show is going to start filming a lot earlier than it usually does.
Shows usually start filming in July/August for the fall season, but according to Heroes star James Kyson Lee (Ando), the writers strike means that the show will start filming in June, and maybe as early as May. He says that NBC plans to really push the show this year, using the Olympics to hype the show.
That’s the good news. The (possible) bad news is that TV Guide’s Michael Ausiello is reporting that Kristen Bell isn’t signed for the new season yet.
He does believe that she will eventually be signed though, because fans like her so much.
I’m curious though: Veronica Mars memories aside, do you Heroes fans like her character on the show? Is she necessary to the plot? I like her story arc. I see her either coming over to the side of the good guys (if she signs a long-term contract) or completely going crazy because of the way her father has been treating her and trying to destroy everyone and eventually dying in a really dramatic way.
Bell turned down the role of Charlotte on Lost to take the Heroes gig.
